Small Classes 6 to 14 students This dynamic setting offers direct interaction with a certified instructor and fellow students. Courses are available as a two-day certified instructor lead class (14-16 hours) or as a blended format. Complete a one-day live class, blended with successful completion of two on-line classes: Pool Operator Primer™ and Pool Operator Fusion™ these are available online through the ePro Academy and then if you choose to pursue the CPO® Certification, register in a Pool Operator Fusion™ live class within six months of completing the Pool Operator Primer™.  The CPO® certification program requires successful passing of an open book written examination

This is a must certification for Pool Technicians/Supervisors, Health Officials Property Managers, Retailers, Manufacturers, and Swimming Pool Operators.  Learn how to reduce risks in and around the water. Valuable information to prevent drowning, recreational water illness, suction entrapment, evisceration, diving accidents, and electrocutions, chemical hazards, slips and falls.  Summarized regulatory guidelines, disinfection, water balance, water problems, troubleshooting, chemical testing, record keeping, and chemical feed systems.

Certification is required by the States of Florida, Georgia and many others.

This course is approved by the State of Georgia and Florida Department of Health for student certification as a public pool service technician under Chapter 514, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 64E-9 Florida Administrative Code.

The National Swimming Pool Foundation® (NSPF®), founded in 1965, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving public health worldwide by attracting more people to safer aquatic environments. NSPF® is committed to improving public health by encouraging healthier living through aquatic education and research. The NSPF® is the leader funding grants to prevent illness, injury and drowning, including a grant to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to reduce recreational water illness. In addition, the NSPF®  is funding a study by the American Red Cross, YMCA, and US Lifesaving to understand the science behind drowning prevention at guarded facilities. The NSPF® funds grants to help reduce risk at aquatic facilities and has also funded the CDC's Healthy Swimming Project for three consecutive years.

Employers have a responsibility to outline emergency response procedures in emergency plans. Employees have a responsibility to follow the plans. In this training course you will learn what is required in such a plan and your responsibilities regarding the plan, training requirements and requirements for alarm systems, fire prevention plans and measures, emergency vehicle access/exit routes and aquatic emergency response plans. Also employee responsibilities to respond to weather-related disasters, natural disasters, bomb threats, fire, workplace violence, and hazard material spills.
