From time to time, as the leader of our company, I am part of a decision I feel good about because I know it will help our employees and their family members. One of our core values is living a balanced life. With this in mind, we have made a new commitment to caring for those who work with us.
For some time, we have desired a better way to help our people, whether they are on the job, at home or at leisure. With that desire in mind, we will begin the PORTOFINO CARES Employee Care Service on February 1, 2016.
This Employee Care Service calls for Chaplain(s) to visit our office regularly. The Chaplain(s) are available to employees or to any immediate family members to meet with them privately on that day, or as mutually scheduled any day of the week, and for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Care Team Chaplains are trained professionals who will guard the identities of those served and respect private communications unless to do so would violate the safety and well-being of another or are otherwise required by law to disclose the information to appropriate authorities.
At Portofino Pool Services and Outdoor Living, we’re family . . . oh, we don’t all have the same last name, but we all have the same challenges, needs and concerns. Around our business, we love folks, and when one of us hurts, we all hurt. When our employees have concerns, we want to help and that is what our new service is all about!
